There is an emergency blood shortage! In support of our community and the American Red Cross, Cox Insurance is hosting a blood drive for our clients and friends to safely donate blood. It’s easy to register!

Cox Insurance partnered with five-time cancer survivor and former Gopher Football player, Casey O’Brien, to raise funds for an infusion center and patient/family experience within the Journey Clinic at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital. The “Bourbon & Burgers” event raised $115,000 for the Team One Four fund at the M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital.
More than 200 guests were in attendance—we enjoyed delicious food from Parlour and bourbon tastings led by Jesse Held of Earl Giles Distillery.
Cox Insurance underwrote all of the expenses so that 100% of the funds will go directly to Team One Four.
It was so great to see everyone who attended and others who couldn’t make it but still donated. We truly appreciate your generosity!

Renowned bartender Jesse Held from Earl Giles Distillery will be providing bourbon tastings throughout the evening.
They’re mouth-watering exceptional. Enough said. We’ll also have charcuteries, non-meat items, and dessert too!
Local potters have created one-of-a-kind whiskey sippers for each guest to take home. Check out this video of one of the artists making them for the event!
We want you to have a great time AND get home safely! Cox Insurance will be providing complimentary UBER rides home from the event.

Casey knows first-hand how dynamic programming and an innovative patient-centered clinic can aid the healing and treatment process for pediatric patients.
The event was a success and over half of the participants were first time blood donors!
The donated blood will help sale up to 138 lives!
