Cox Insurance: Our 30-day Sabbatical Program
In the fast-paced world that we all live and work in today, it’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind. Sometimes, it requires a step back to take a couple steps forward. The collective success of our firm depends on the health and vitality of our team. That is why we put in place our 30-day Associate Sabbatical Program to allow our people to be able to reflect, recharge and return stronger.
For me, this is not just about taking time off. A priority for me over the next couple weeks is to be a present dad and husband – more important than any KPI or K1. I’m also going to prioritize this unique opportunity to slow down, enjoy the small moments, create the space for personal growth and spark creativity. Reset. Rejuvenate.
We are on the cusp of our 75th year in business – something I take with a great deal of pride leading our team. We talk a lot about who we want to be when we turn 100, and at the center of that plan is to be a place where our employees love to work. If we get this piece right, we’re confident it will lead to us doing our best work for our clients + partners, allow us to remain fiercely independent and to be the best possible stewards in our communities.
